  1. I’ve never heard this teaching before but you seem to be on to something. Thank you for all your research and courage to be straight up on this issue. Every church should have this message.

I have a question for you. When I was young and unsaved I married an unsaved divorced man. He eventually divorced me. So, I committed adultery without knowing I had. I married my second husband and I was his first marriage. Is my second marriage the marriage God recognizes? My husband pushed for a divorce of silly grounds even though we’re both Christians. He now prepares to marry and single Christian Pastor. I will still be his wife regardless of this new adulterous marriage right? Therefore, I am not free to remarry even if he does remarry, right? It’s really confusing isn’t it? Thanks again.

  2. Irimi, I don’t know if you received a response before, but here is the answer according to God’s Covenant Marriage Law. Your first “marriage” was not a real marriage since the first husband was a divorced man and still married in God’s eyes if he married you during the lifetime of his covenant (first) wife. If this is the case, then the second man you married is your real *first ever” covenant husband. God recognizes your second marriage and your second husband as a covenant marriage and spouse. You cannot marry another. If husband number 2 marries another he becomes an adulterer and his new wife too. Jesus said, Whosoever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery. Whoever marries her that is divorced commits adultery. This applies to both spouses. Go to amatterofsalvation.com an excellent resource.
